ABOUT PREGNACY YOGA
In the studio, we have limited numbers to 11 people plus the teacher. You can read our Covid-19 protocol here.
Theresa teaches our pregnancy yoga (antenatal) class in Brixton/ Herne Hill on Sunday evenings. No previous experience of yoga is necessary. You need to be at least 12 weeks pregnant to attend and then you are welcome to drop in. However, if you have any questions or complications please contact Theresa directly: email@example.com
This is a chance to meet other pregnant women who live close by, creating a support network during pregnancy and beyond. Yoga during pregnancy aids deep relaxation, calms fluctuating emotions and helps to prepare you for labour and motherhood. It is energising, uplifting and nurturing and is a great way to release the tensions in the body and build strength and stamina.
Theresa also teaches a mum & baby yoga class on Fridays at 11:30 so you can come to that class once you have had your baby.
“Thank you for teaching such a relaxing, calm and positive pregnancy yoga class. It really was one of the highlights of my pregnancy, I enjoyed the opportunity to check in with myself once a week and it really helped me understand what my changing body was capable of. I didn’t regularly attend yoga classes before pregnancy but I will be making sure I do from now on as I really valued spending “me time” in that way.” Laura, May 2019
“The birth was as good as it could of been. I did listen to you throughout, it was very helpful the yoga really really helped, during the pregnancy and very much so during the labour, I don’t think it would have been such an experience without your help! Thank you.” Emma, May 2019
