Theresa Aldridge teaches our pregnancy class on Sundays at 18:30. No previous experience of yoga is necessary for this class. You need to be at least 12 weeks pregnant to attend. Theresa is a mum of two and found pregnancy yoga an enormous help. Practising yoga when pregnant creates a connection with the baby through meditation, mantra and breath work. It is energising, uplifting and nurturing and is a great way to release the tensions in the body and build strength and stamina. And one of the best things is the chance to meet other pregnant women who live close by, creating a support network during pregnancy and beyond.
Theresa worked in theatre as a performer, producer and teacher. She has been a student of yoga since 1999. The transformative effects of yoga had such a strong and positive impact on her life that she felt she could combine her teaching experience with her love for yoga by training as a teacher. Theresa qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2012, training at Yogacampus in Islington.
