FAQs
Do I need to book a class or can I just turn up?
The classes operate on a drop-in basis. There is no need to book regular classes (all classes except workshops), just turn up. If you haven't been before it is good to arrive 10 mins before the class is due to start to introduce yourself to the teacher.
Will there be room in the class or do I need to book?
Classes vary, some are busier than others but currently there will be room in the class if you just turn up and we do not operate a booking system for classes.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable. Yoga is practiced in bare feet and most people wear leggings/shorts and a t-shirt/top.
I am a complete beginner can I just come along and try a class?
Yes you can attend any of the classes that say 'Beginners' or 'All welcome'. There is no need to book.
Is there a concessionary rate for classes?
Yes there is for people who are unemployed (and on benefits) and full-time students. We ask people to show proof of their concession status and to show respect and be honest.
How can I pay?
We accept cash or cards.
Do I need to bring anything?
Yoga Point is fully equipped so there is no need to bring a mat, belt or blocks etc. There are male and female changing rooms.
How can I tell which style of yoga the class will be?
Look under the teachers' profiles for an explanation of the style each teacher practices. If you click on the class on the timetable if will take you to information about the teacher/class.
