Vaccasin teaches 7:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Vaccasin started practicing Iyengar yoga in Sydney, Australia in 1986 and started his teacher training with Peter Scott in Melbourne in 1990. He completed his teacher training at the Maida Vale Iyengar Institute, London in 1994.

Vaccasin developed the Yoga centre at the Croydon Buddhist Centre between 1991/97. He also taught at Bodywise (Bethnal Green) and Yoga Home (Stoke Newington) before moving to Bristol to set up City Yoga in 2001. After 7 years in Bristol, Vaccasin moved back to London to set up Yoga Point in Brixton. Having spent 12 years living and working in Buddhist communities (ordained into the Western Buddhist Order in 1993), Vaccasin’s yoga practice and teaching draws from this influence.

Claudia teaches 7:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Claudia’s love and passion for teaching comes from a desire to learn from everyone and to share all the aspects of her practice that have helped her. In flowing the breath and the body together, she hopes to encourage her students to a mindfull practice, cultivating inner peace and self-love.

Rhona teaches 8:15 on Mondays and Fridays

Rhona teaches Vinyasa Flow and her aim as a yoga teacher is to create a space for people to take time to tune in with their body and encourage them to find their potential for movement, strength and flexibility in a relaxed and friendly environment.  She teaches a dynamic practice with creative sequences offering options to cater for different levels.

Vaccasin teaches 8:15 on Tuesdays

Vaccasin has been practising yoga for more than 30 years and teaching for 28. He qualified with the Iyengar school in 1994 and his style is still influenced by that experience. An equally strong influence on his teaching, is his grounding in Buddhist meditation and community and he shares a refreshingly accessible and unpretentious take on this in his classes.
