Fiona Edwards

Fiona qualified as a Shiatsu Practitioner with The European Shiatsu School in 2002.
She had a 25 year career as a contemporary dancer, choreographer and dance
teacher (including 5 years as Senior Lecturer at Roehampton University) and during this time
became inspired by Shiatsu. Shiatsu helped, along with yoga, to heal a dance knee
injury where traditional methods had failed.  Through her increasing knowledge
and those of her teachers she became injury free and remains convinced in the
power of Shiatsu to heal both mind and body.
Fiona has extensive knowledge of anatomy and a passion for finding the root causes
of a problem. Her focus is on assisting the client to take an active role in improving
their health and wellbeing and following up on their progress. Shiatsu is a hands-on therapy working with the meridians of Chinese Medicine and can treat many disorders including digestive issues, muscle and joint pain, chronic illnesses, stress, anxiety and insomnia.
Fiona is also a fully qualified Yoga teacher (YA) and has been teaching regularly at
Yoga Point for the last four years.Shiatsu Treatment days: Wednesday & Friday
