Chris has been practising yoga since 1995 and teaching since 2008 with a qualifications in Hatha Yoga, restorative and therapeutic yoga, yoga and meditation for prisoners and people in recovery from addictions. Her classes draw on many styles and the approach is gentle although not “easy” and not just for “beginners”. There is an emphasis on getting to know your own body, mind and self. The classes focus on finding a balance between strength and softness, effort and ease. Students say they leave her classes feeling “relaxed yet invigorated”.
Chris is a mum of two teenage boys and has found that yoga has helped her feel healthier and more resilient, introducing a little space into a busy and sometimes anxious life. She has found it is possible in that space to quieten, reflect and find inspiration.
