Celia has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1994 at the Iyengar Institute in Maida Vale. She is a qualified Junior Intermediate Level 2 teacher and continues to study under the guidance of Alaric Newcombe, one of the most senior Iyengar teachers in this country.
The physical and mental health benefits that Celia has experienced through yoga have been rewarding and life changing. Celia aims to bring those to other people in a safe and productive environment with a sense of fun and enjoyment. Iyengar yoga focuses on extension and alignment, using props where necessary to help achieve the asana. Classes will help to build strength, stability, flexibility and mental calm.
Starting in the Autumn: Thursday 08:15am Level 3 Pranayama class
This class is suitable for those with at least three years of Iyengar yoga practice. You should be able to do Sirsanana and Sarvangasana and have a knowledge of how to use props.
